Howard Worrell is President of Direct Systems. After graduation from the College Of William and Mary, he began his business career as a commercial loan officer with Virginia’s largest bank. Eventual ownership of two moving companies and two trucking companies provided a knowledge of the transportation industry as well as the impetus for Direct Systems.

Robert Butt is responsible for product development and technical services at Direct. As controller for the original moving and trucking companies owned by Howard, he gained a complete understanding of the moving industry and its unique requirements. This knowledge has served him well as the primary architect of Direct’s software.

Peggy Spence developed her accounting knowledge at several major CPA firms. Joining Direct in 1989, she eventually assumed full supervisory responsibility for all training and customer support activities.

Steven Purvis is an independent consultant who has assisted our customers since 1992 with their Network and Hardware requirements.  A former mover himself, he has provided systems integration and workflow solutions to moving & storage and to other industries since 1984.  His vast knowledge base and experience with Novell and Microsoft provides better service for his clients.  His expertise in the area of Internet-based communication (agent to agent; agent to van line; etc.) is valued by both Agent and VanLine personnel.

Linda Love’s pervious twenty-year career was as an accountant in the private sector. Specifically related to her duties at Direct was her responsibility for the successful installation, data conversion and training on all new systems.

Danette Bean, a former Atlas agency owner with her husband, Skip, holds primary responsibility for sales at Direct Systems.  A graduate of University of Southern Mississippi, Danette has over 15 years of hands-on moving and storage experience.  This, combined with her technical knowledge, makes her particularly well suited for the challenges of her position.

Sue Atwood  provides the welcoming voice you first hear when calling Direct Systems.  Her professional, knowledgeable manner assures the proper response to each support or sales query.

Sean Finch gained his industry knowledge and expertise while serving as Controller for a large multi – branch Atlas agency in the Northeast. His previous educational accomplishments include an MBA in Accounting from Fordham University and a BS in Finance and Economics from the University of Hartford. Sean assists new installations with the initial set up and training on Direct’s software. He also provides high level consulting to the moving industry on financial and accounting issues.

Greg Butt shares his father's technical acumen.  A graduate of Virginia Tech, he assists with both programming and support.

Lynsey W. Cutillo has, literally, grown up at Direct Systems, assisting with various office tasks throughout high school and during her years at Virginia Commonwealth University. After graduation from VCU, she returned to Direct full time with responsibility for various marketing projects as well as customer service.
